Book Sellers Show

Published 29 Sep 2017

Art is verse and interesting. I found it to be so. I am particularly interested in coming for the Book sellers Show. I have a number of books, including ‘How to Make Money in the Sign Painting Business’. I humbly ask for an added privilege to airbrush on shirts to promote my model. I have actually found out that both publishing and panting have a common ground, just like a woman and her daughter. Design can not be divorced from publishing.

It is interesting to find about that this is going to be a booksellers show this summer. I would love to be a part of it. I am a new publisher with really great books to sell. I saw your announcement in Publishers Weekly about the booksellers show you are having this summer, and I think it is a great idea. It is a great forum for the new publishers to bring their work to limelight and the old and mature members of the industry to interact with younger ones for the purpose maintaining standard in publishing. I am passionate about attending the program; therefore, I would like to get some space to show my books. I would be grateful if this request is granted. It would contribute greatly to the progress of work that I am doing.
Besides, I have a new book titled, ‘How to Make Money in the Sign Painting Business’. This show would create a viable platform for people to become aware of the book. The book is useful for artists who are interested or even specialise in sign painting.

I have started work on promotion of these books. I will be starting my PR campaign about May 2008 with advertisements in PW and some art trade papers, so my books should be well known by the time the show comes in August. I am sure both would work together for the excellence of knowledge and development of our community, especially the publishing industry.

Apart from publishing, I am also good at painting. I thought it would be a neat thing if I could do some live airbrushing on T-shirts to help promote my hot new title, T-Shirt Art. Before I got into publishing, I was an airbrush artist, and I could demonstrate my techniques. I have done hundreds of advertising illustrations. I have actually been a sign painter all my life. As many people as would be coming either as customer or publisher would find it a good opportunity to have customised shirts, via airbrushing. I believe this would add glamour to the whole event.

It is not impossible that you would need to use my appearance as part of your publicity; I have enclosed a biography and photograph of myself. Please let me know what it costs for both spaces as soon as possible, so I can figure out whether I can afford to attend. It appears that being a publisher is quite costly; indeed no profession or gain is without a price.
