Seguros Venezuela – AIG, Venezuela 1996–2000 Accident & Health Commercial Manager Performed overall management of Commercial Accident & Health insurance program. Maintained a solid yearly growth of 25% to 35%, increasing number of individual and corporate accounts. Developed a recruiting and training plan for insurance agents, recruiting over 250 agents and generating over $200,000 in annualized premium in a period of 12 months. Responsible for all advertising, marketing and corporate communication aimed to the individual market. Received ALICO’s “Best Year to Date Results” award among all South American operations in 1997.

SIFICO, Venezuela 1995–1996 Marketing Assistant – Advertising Created, produced and media-planned the launching TV, Radio and print advertising campaign, resulting in over 50,000 contacts for sales representatives in a 3 month period. Supported the sales process by seeking out potential business opportunities and staying up-to-date on industry information. Served as primary contact for advertising agencies on requests and inquires regarding schedules, invoices, pricing, etc. Maintained advertising providers and media outlet’s contracts and files.

The Leo Burnett Co., Caracas, Venezuela 1993-1994 Account Executive Managed Pinturas Montana’s Account, the leading paint brand in the Venezuelan market. Oversaw the status of advertising campaigns. Participated in the creative brief and follow-up of the 1994 TV, radio and print advertising campaign, which was recognized as a finalist for the 1994 National Association of Advertisers of Venezuela (ANDA) for Best Advertising Campaign in the Consumer Goods category.
