An overview of Goodwill Company shows that if things continue the way they are, the company can improve its image and outreach more people. The overview is given so as to show the basics that the industry has developed and the ways that they can enhance their reputation so that the public may stop thinking that they are taken advantage of by a nonprofit making organization. Relations with partners and outsider
All companies should put effort so that they can maintain good relations with the company. If it’s a profit making organization, it should ensure that it provides goods and services at a fair price and the goods or services should not cause harm to the public. In case of partnerships profit making organizations should ensure that they reveal the true and exact profits that are made. Goodwill relies on the public their partners to accomplish its mission which is to enhance dignity and the quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening of the entire community, eliminating the barriers to opportunity and helping those that are in need to reach their full potential through learning and the power that comes with work. The founder of Goodwill wanted to diminish the gap between those that are wealthy and those that are poor. Goodwill manages its relationship with its partners and the public since the company’s provides for the well treatment of the public and their partners. The company is able to meet the needs of all job seekers like the youth and people with disabilities and other needs that are special. The company advertises and publicizes opportunities and how to expand its businesses. Goodwill Company has had a stable company over the yearsfootnoteRef:4. Culture and communications
Goodwill has a strong culture that is of continuous improvements. This is demonstrated by the placidity of the company’s budget. Over the years, the company has generated lots of funds, being one of the top nonprofit real estate retail. This is because the budget has been stable over the years, a factor brought about by its strong culture.
The Goodwill Company also has a good communication policyfootnoteRef:5. This is demonstrated when the company uses their website to access the community and determine the needs of every individual in that community, both the young and old generation. It then records this information obtained to a specific database that has future information. Due to competitive prices over quality, more and more stores increase in size. The functions within the organizations are to advertise opportunities to partner with them and how to expand business opportunities. The company can also provide a number of services to people from vocational evaluation, adjustment job search and placement services. Goodwill organization also works with the nation’s top brands to fight unemployment and underemploymentfootnoteRef:6. The functions within the organizations are based on bureaucrative cleavages since it is to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunities and also helping people in need to reach their full potential through learning and the power of work. Senior managers deal with the existence of functions by making significant investments to adverse goodwill’s work in local communities. Goodwill works to enhance the dignity and quality of life. Leadership
Goodwill Company is mostly ruled by the senior managers whose main function is to plan and organize in the companyfootnoteRef:8. They also deal with the budgeting and allocation of the resources. They direct services to membership. Goodwill works with the nation’s top brands to fight unemployment and underemployment. Through this goodwill creates a cooperate image to the surrounding. It certainly motivates the manager to continue improvising new skills so as to perfect the company3. Through offering of jobs, the company is widely known. As a leader in the organization one creates a good image and most people and other organizations would prefer working with that the organization. The consumers also become loyal to the company and they therefore benefit from the sponsorships. Leader’s functions are to make significant investments to advance Goodwill’s works in local communitiesfootnoteRef:9. They also allocate duties in the company. They plan and organize. Change
Goodwill has not only the motivation but also the capacity to search the environment if there are any signs of threats or available opportunities. If either of the above is detected, the company is then able to adapt to them effectively. The company demonstrates change through continuous flourishing by adopting new technology and then changing the budget implementation. Thus the industry changes predictably. Recommendations
Goodwill Company should obtain enough human resources so as to enhance their operations and day to day activities. This would increase the amount of funds that the company makes. The company should also clearly outline the relationship between those they assist and the top employees of the company. The relationship is currently not clearly outlined. Goodwill Company has a weak technology. The company should improve their technology so as to operate effectively. This is because things have changed today and all companies need operate under new technologies. They should even use social media to publicize the company and make its objectives known to the public.
